CROOK Lane residents were invited to a roadshow in Winsford to see how work by a social housing provider will improve their neighbourhood.

More than Over 250 Weaver Vale Housing Trust customers were invited to Wharton Library this week to the new railings and gates which are being installed in the area to provide a secure front boundary for homes, and prevent people from sitting on the walls.

Money advice was also available, plus the opportunity to discuss job support and opportunities in the local area.

Phil Lomas, Weaver Vale Housing Trust surveyor, said: “The roadshow provided a great opportunity to meet our customers and to gain feedback and offer advice. The Trust is committed to listening to customer views and to involving them in our 20/20 Vision to transform homes and neighbourhoods.”
