PENSIONERS will be given advice about the benefits they are entitled to at events throughout February and March.

Age UK Cheshire has launched a Let’s Talk Money campaign, which aims to reduce pensioner poverty by increasing the number of people aged over 65 claiming attendance allowance.

This is a non means tested benefit to help people with long term illness and disability.

Age UK Cheshire’s advisors will be on hand at a number of events to offer guidance.

On February 20 they will be at the Dingle recreation centre, in High Street, in Winsford, from 11am to noon.

At 2pm on March 5 there will be a session at Antrobus Friendship Club, Antrobus Village Hall, in Knutsford Road, Antrobus.

From 11am to noon on March 11 advisors will be at Hartford Men in Sheds, Hartford Business Park, in Chester Road.

Advisors will return to Dingle recreation centre, in Winsford, from 11am to noon on March 20.
