A THEATRE in Northwich is hosting a one night only treat in aid of a mid Cheshire charity.

The Harlequin Theatre, in Queen Street, presents The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, by Jim Cartwright, at 7.45pm on April 8.

The production, directed by Gordon Hamlin, will raise money for the Neuromuscular Centre, in Winsford, which provides training and supported employment opportunities, physiotherapy and hydrotherapy for people with muscular dystrophy.

The Rise and Fall of Little Voice follows the story of Little Voice who lives alone with a mother whose sole purpose is to find another man.

Mari’s imposing presence on her shy daughter forces Little Voice into spending her time in her bedroom listening to her beloved father’s record collection.

Tickets, priced £10, are available by emailing kay.briggs@nmcentre.com, visiting nmcentre.com or ringing 01606 530465.
