A HOST of talented young musicians provided a evening of diverse entertainment in Hartford.
A classic string ensemble, brass band, saxophone group, swing band and jazz band, all from Northwich schools, performed at Mid Cheshire College thanks to the Rotary Club of Northwich.
This was the second year that the concert had been held and it raised £400 for St Luke’s Hospice.
The 150 pupils who took part were from Hartford CE High School, Weaverham High School, The Grange School, The County High School Leftwich and Sir John Deane’s College, with a finale from the Vale Royal Schools Concert Band.
Nick Marsh, from the Rotary Club of Northwich, said: “A spectacular evening, a great experience for the performers and the organisers hope that it is one that shall be repeated next year.”
