MORE than 120 incidents were logged by police in the Davenham and Moulton area during December.

Parish clerk Phil Sanders presented the police report at the latest meeting of Moulton Parish Council.

It covers Moulton, Davenham, Bostock, Stanthorne and Whatcroft.

He said: “There have been 122 incidents, including a burglary in Davenham, incidents of anti-social behaviour and various traffic offences.

“Patrols around the village are being maintained with a specific focus on dog fouling.”

Councillors expressed concerns that the number of incidents had risen since November.

Mr Sanders said: “Reported incidents last time were 68.

“It can be literally stopping someone on suspicion of something like driving – it only takes an initiative that pulls over one driver a day and that’s 30 incidents.”
