A HISTORIC building will be given an exciting future with the help of the Northwich community.

St Helen’s Church has been at the centre of life in Northwich for more than 600 years and its community is now appealing for the town’s views on what people would like to see next.

Consultation packs are being sent to all residential and business addresses in the parish, along with other town organisations, as the church launches its major project to develop a vision for the 21st century.

The pack includes a description of the church’s objectives to support the community through increased use and better facilities and asks everyone to put forward their single most important idea for St Helen’s.

Ideas include frequent opening, more events, good facilities and a beautiful churchyard.

Each idea will be considered and moves put in place to make the vision happen.

Consultation packs include a slip and freepost envelope for the response.
