GIANT Christmas decorations have been recycled for the community.

Sainsbury’s supermarket, in Venables Road, has given its larger than life colourful decorations to the Multi Sports Group at Northwich and District Youth Centre.

The decorations were hung over the shop floor throughout December.

Peter Jones, store manager, said: “We’re delighted to donate these decorations to Multi-Sports Group held at Northwich & District Youth Centre.

“e received great feedback from our customers on this year’s decorations and it’s great to ensure they’ve found a good home in the community.”

The decorations will be used when the group decorates its Christmas grotto in December.
