A VILLAGE is preparing to put on its panto this week.

Residents aged between five and 50 will be treading the boards in Dick Whittington and His Cat at the village hall, in Main Road, from January 23 to 25.

Mandy Wood, director of the Pantomime Players of Moulton, said: “We are a village pantomime and the cast this year is getting larger and larger with the recruitment of more adults as well as our usual large number of girls and boys, including Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers and Beavers, as well as other children and adults form our village.

“Some of our members have been in every pantomime since we started in 1991.”

Performances will take place at 7.30pm each evening and there is a matinee on Saturday at 2pm.

Doors open half an hour before each performance.

Tickets, priced £5 or £3 for concessions, are available by ringing Gill on 01606 551490.
