SPOTTY and Dotty were rescued by Northwich Police force on Tuesday, December 7.
The pair of dalmatians were found in Chester Road after a resident raised concerns for their welfare.
PC Peter Cole admitted he’s gained the nickname of ‘Dr Doolittle’ at Northwich police station.
It’s the second animal-based rescue he’s been part of in as many months after returning two goats to their owner when they escaped onto the A556 near Roberts Bakery.
