THE annual trauma of disposing of your needle-malting Christmas tree could be solved this festive season.
For a donation, volunteers from Just-helping and St Luke's Hospice will be collecting trees on the weekend of January 4 and 5 and on Saturday, January 11.
They will collect fresh trees from homes, businesses, churches, schools, community centres, saving time, fuel and a vehicle full of needles.
Trees will be collected from a pre-arranged spot and taken for chipping to Reaseheath College, where the countryside management students will gain valuable experience whilst supporting their appeal.
Inform the volunteers which weekend you prefer in your 'instructions' when booking in at charityxmastreecollection.com
