WEAVER Vale Housing Trust staff are helping to spread Christmas cheer by collecting for Mid Cheshire Food Bank.
The Trust’s ‘Giving Something Back Group’ organised a collection that was donated to the food bank, which distributes the items in Northwich and Winsford, via their distribution centres.
Food collected included powdered milk, sugar, tea bags, instant coffee, cereals, soup, instant mash potato, rice, pasta, tinned meat and vegetables, pasta sauces, honey and tinned sponge pudding.
“For many people Christmas means enjoying a wide selection of food,” said Chris Holland, from the Trust’s Giving Something Back Group.
“But it’s important that we remember those who are less fortunate, which is why we decided to support Mid Cheshire Food Bank as it provides so much fantastic support across the local community,”
