MORE than 60 people attended an event to raise awareness of substance misuse.
The Drugwatch Trust held its Insight Awareness Event at Cheshire Police HQ, in Winsford.
Representatives from councils, police, the NHS, education, parents and the voluntary and community sectors were in the audience for a number of presentations.
Talks were by John Dwyer, police and crime commissioner, Brendan Anderson, chairman of Drugwatch Trust, Dave Betts, consultant to the trust, and Robbie Burns, who works in substance misuse training.
New programme ambassadors signed up for training on the day to help the trust achieve greater prevention through awareness.
