PATIENTS and public are invited to have their say about improving access to healthcare in Northwich and Winsford.

People are invited to join discussions on topics such as the types of service offered at community pharmacies and how NHS policies can affect access to treatments and services.

The discussion events will help influence spending on health carried out by NHS Vale Royal Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).

Simon Whitehouse, chief officer of NHS Vale Royal CCG, said: “We are all aware of how important it is that money allocated by the Government for health services locally is spent wisely.

“We want people to know it is the CCGs’ priority to ensure that funding for health services is focused on improving outcomes for local people.

“As new treatments and services become available, demand goes up and we as a CCG have to make the decisions of how to spend the budget for the benefit of the whole Vale Royal population.”

The discussion event will take place at Mid Cheshire College, in Hartford, between 2pm and 4om on Wednesday, December 11.
