A WOMAN’s dog bit back against offenders who tried to snatch her bag in Northwich.

The incident happened at 7.40pm in Belmont Road, Rudheath.

The woman was approached from behind by three men who attempted to steal the bag from her hand.

But the victim’s dog bit one of the attackers on the ankle before chasing off the trio.

All three offenders are described as being slim, in their 20s and around 5ft 6ins tall. All were wearing dark hoodies, jeans and white trainers.

They were chased off in the direction of Marlow Road.
