A WOMAN has been airlifted to hospital after a collision between a car and a bus in Moulton.
Police were called to Jack Lane at 12.51pm today, Friday, after reports that a Renault Clio had been in collision with a bus.
A woman from the car has been taken to Leighton Hospital by air ambulance after she had to be cut out of the Clio after becoming medically trapped.
She is believed to be in a serious but stable condition.
One fire engine from Northwich, two from Winsford and one from Middlewich attended the scene.
All of the passengers on the bus are understood to be uninjured.
Main Road is closed at its junction with Jack Lane, while both Jack Lane and Kiln Lane are closed at their junctions with the A533 while emergency services work at the scene.
