This Specialized bike was stolen from Weaverham. Police are appealing for information
POLICE in Northwich are asking residents to make sure that their sheds and outbuildings are secure after a recent rise in thefts.
On Friday, October 11 a shed in the Northwich Road area of Weaverham was targeted at around 3.15am. A Specialized bike worth around £1,500 was stolen.
Police are asking bike owners to note the frame number of their bikes, which will assist officer identify the owners of any recovered property.
Northwich Police Station currently has a number of pedal cycles that have been recovered, but has no way of identifying the owners.
If anybody sees the pictured bike, or has been asked to buy it, call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 89 of 11/10/2013.
