Success for community IT in Moulton
4:22pm Thursday 17th October 2013 in News
IT TRAINING sessions in Moulton are proving a great success.
The sessions for adult beginners started in September and will run for 10 weeks.
Phil Sanders, Moulton’s parish clerk, said: “We’ve had 10 people turning up each week and enjoying it, it’s doing really well.
“It’s a success story, no doubt about it, and it’s something we would like to take forward.”
The first series of workshops has been organised by Moulton Parish Council and funded by Cheshire Community Development Trust (CCDT), with a trainer from Vale Royal Disability Services and a base at Moulton School.
Councillors have been investigating funding for future sessions.
Phil said: “These 10 weeks take us into December then hopefully we will be a position to continue from January onwards.”
