Door staff assaulted at Northwich pub
BOUNCERS were assaulted at The Quayside in Northwich on Friday night, October 11, during two separate incidents.
At 11.25pm, a member of the Witton Street pub’s bar staff was punched in the face.
A 49-year-old man from Weaverham was cautioned for the offence.
At 12.40am early the following Saturday morning, another member of the Quayside’s door staff was assaulted.
The offender, a 23-year-old Northwich man, was on a lifetime ban under the town’s pubwatch system, which denies repeat trouble makers access to pubs in the area.
The man was charged with assault and will appear in court on October 31.
