A FUN day at a Moulton pub raised more than £450 towards a hearing dog for deaf people.
The Lion, in Main Road, held the event on September 28 and funds will be given to Deafness Support Network (DSN) as part of its ongoing fundraising for a hearing dog.
Dolores Fallon, who runs The Lion with Andy Jones, is a management support officer at DSN, which has its headquarters in London Road, in Northwich, so was keen to help.
Staff at the pub are also being given training in basic British Sign Language (BSL) to help them communicate with deaf people.
