Cycle to Work Day saw PJ Johnson, from Northwich, cycle to Knutsford.
He said: "It's a 20 mile round trip - I've been doing it since April!
"Doing this saves me approximately £30.50 per week.
"I was 4.5 stone heavier than I am now in April 2012 and to keep the weight off and save money in the process, I decided to start cycling to work.
"It's hard going some days but I tough it out!"
And to those of you who use every day as a #cycletoworkday keep up the good work as you inspire others to get on two wheels too :)— @DameSarahStorey 12 September 2013

Not everyone finds it easy to cycle to work.
Middlewich man Tom Brunt would love to cycle to his office in Northwich Business Centre but said a lack of facilities makes it tough.
The dad-of-two said: "I've got a young family so it's hard to get out on the bike at the weekend.
"I love cycling but it's finding the time to do it, cycling to work in the week would be perfect."
Tom, who has a daughter Emily, four, and five-month-old son Max, is the managing director of Citizen Recruitment and hoped to find offices with shower and bike storage facilities but drew a blank.
"It would be more of an incentive if there were facilities on industrial estates or near office blocks," he said.
"I know it's easier said than done with councils trying to save money but it would be great to arrive, get a shower and have secure bike stands."
@ginabebbington If I didn't have any work to do today I'd definitely be joining in with #cycletoworkday and #cyclenorthwich #gutted— @resophonick 12 September 2013

Guardian reader David Hurdsfield was the first cyclist to get in touch about Cycle to Work Day 2013.
The 52-year-old lives in Knutsford and works for Northwich Town Council, in Church Road.
He said: "I do 100 miles a week straight down the bypass, which isn't too bad actually.
"I've been biking for years but bought a new bike through the Cycle to Work scheme this year.
"I used to buy cheap bikes but they didn't last too long.
"I use a mountain bike with road tyres on.
"I timed myself coming home on Tuesday night and it took37 minutes.
"It's only in winter that I don't really like it, but it keeps you fit."
Don't forget that we're giving away official Team GB water bottles to mid Cheshire cyclists who cycled to work today and share their stories with us.
I was a coward today and swapped my lycra and clip on's for heels ;-) #cyclenorthwich— @kennedygirlx 12 September 2013
I'd have cycled to work today but a two and a half ride with no shower at the end would not have been pretty for colleagues! #cyclenorthwich— @JimboTW 12 September 2013
So cycling to Northwich from St Helens would probably kill me, but I'm willing to give it a go...on the exercise bike #cyclenorthwich— @emmajanerigby 12 September 2013

@the1gordo Perhaps a #cycletowork week would be more effective. Swap your car for a bike one or more days in a week...— @ASecretCyclist 12 September 2013

Foggy, Misty, Damp and a bit Chilly. But an enjoyable 11 mile cycle to work, on #CycleToWorkDay #Manchester #CycleEveryDay— @MadeByMayo 12 September 2013
Sorry this blog is starting a bit late - I've been cycling to work!
I chose to ride my road bike to work this morning and will be going out on it for jobs throughout the day (around Northwich and Winsford).
It's prompted plenty of cycling conversation at the Guardian this morning.
Is this being replicated at workplaces across Northwich? Let us know.
