Commute by bike on Cycle to Work Day
WORKERS across the UK are being encouraged to commute to work on two wheels tomorrow, Thursday.
Cycle to Work Day, supported by Paralympic gold medallist Dame Sarah Storey, aims to highlight the benefits of cycling as a means of transport and encourage more people to cycle more often.
The Pedal Power campaign is supporting the initiative and encouraging readers to get in touch with us and tell us their Cycle to Work Day commuting stories.
We have official Team GB water bottles, courtesy of British Cycling, to give away to anyone who takes part in our feature.
We want to know how many miles you commute on the day, where you work, how much money it saved you, why you decided to give it a go and whether you will ever do it again. And if you can send us a picture of yourself when you arrive at work that’s even better.

For more information on Cycle to Work Day and to pledge to do it visit cycletowork.org, which will also calculate how much money your commute will save and how many calories it will burn.
