CHILDREN and families can enjoy golfing fun at a Northwich park during the summer holidays.

Crazy golf and putting sessions have been organised at Roker Park by Northwich police and the town council.

The series of free events start on Saturday, July 13, from 3pm to 5pm.

Further golfing afternoons have been planned for between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday, July 21, and Thursday, July 25, with a session from noon until 2pm on Friday, August 2.

On Wednesday, August 7, there will be a session from 2pm to 4pm and on Tuesday, August 13, there will be golfing from noon until 2pm.

PCSO Angela Richardson said: “We’ve done this for the past three years and normally have 50 or more kids come along.

“Children and their parents always ask when the next one will be and there are kids that come every year.”
