PARENTS and children are being urged to be vigilant after two teenagers were inappropriately touched in Northwich.

Police have issued an efit of a man they are keen to trace in relation to two separate incidents of teenage girls being touched inappropriately.

Detectives are investigating following the offences – which both took place in Rudheath between 8pm and 9pm – and believe the same individual is responsible.

On both occasions the suspect, described as a dark-skinned male, possibly of African origin and aged between 20 and 30-years-old, approached lone teenage girls.

He engaged the girls in brief conversation before groping their bottoms and offering them money for sex.

DS Doleman of Northwich CID said: “We are keen to trace this man whose conduct is completely unacceptable and he put both girls in fear of their own safety.

“Fortunately both had the presence of mind to report the incidents to police.

“Particularly during the longer summer evenings and school holidays we would urge parents and children to be vigilant and pay attention to their personal safety.

“Any suspicious incidents should be reported to police on 101.”
