The 58-yer-old pleaded not guilty to the charges at Chester Magistrates Court on February 26
A WEAVERHAM man has pleaded not guilty to the possession of indecent images of children.
James Anthony Stelfox, of Pinfold Avenue, is charged in relation to images that range from level one to level five (level five being the most extreme).
He faces 15 counts of making indecent images and one count of the possession of extreme pornography.
The 58-yer-old pleaded not guilty to the charges at Chester Magistrates Court on February 26.
Stelfox, a trustee of Weaverham Community Association, is also charged with benefit fraud after claiming more than £34,000 in disability living allowance.
The charge relates to a statement made on April 20, 1999, when Stelfox told the Department for Work and Pensions that information was correct and complete when his mobility and care needs were not as great as stated.
Stelfox did not enter a plea to the charge and will now appear at Chester Crown Court on June 24.
