Northwich residents changing lives in Africa

Gordon Atkinson, from the Rotary Club of Northwich Vale Royal, has returned from two weeks in Kenya visiting clean water projects.
AFRICAN experiences and changing lives will be the topic of a talk in Hartford on Friday, March 8.
Gordon Atkinson, from the Rotary Club of Northwich Vale Royal, has returned from two weeks in Kenya visiting clean water projects and an eye clinic supported by Rotary.
Gordon also visited a community school funded by the charity Under the Mango Tree, which he was instrumental in setting up along with the Rev Charles Makonde.
He said: “My trip was memorable for all the best reasons.
“The projects that I visited are making a very real difference to peoples lives.”
He will provide a first hand report of the good work being done when he gives the talk at Hartford Methodist Church School Room, in Beach Road, at 7.30pm on March 8.
This is a free talk, no charges or donations, all welcome.
