RUDHEATH has two new parish councillors after David Rowe and Kevin Rimmer were co-opted at its February meeting.
David, who lives in Heathcote Gardens in Rudheath, is hoping to enhance the future of the parish by bringing its people together.
The 40-year-old, who works at Morrisons as an implementation lead, said: “I hope to bring a fresh outlook and try and involve as many of the local parishioners and businesses as possible to enhance the future of Rudheath.”
Greenbank resident Kevin, who is secretary of Northwich Anglers Association, vice chair of Rudheath and Witton Community Board and a member of Northwich Town Council, was also co-opted onto the council.
“I spend a good deal of time in Rudheath and I am aware of some of the residents’ concerns,” said 48-year-old Kevin.
“I am committed to giving something back to the community in whatever way I can and for me it isn’t just about the community I live in but also the wider community.
“My aims as a parish councillor are to serve the Rudheath residents in any way I can and to the best of my ability, to actively encourage their involvement in community life and where possible, to turn aspirations into reality.”
Rudheath Parish Council still has two vacancies.
