What would you like to go and see at Memorial Court?

RESIDENTS are being asked what they would like to see at the new Northwich Memorial Court.

Cheshire West and Chester Council (CWAC) and Brio Leisure are developing an arts and cultural programme for the new venue.

This will be enhanced and extended as they consult with the community, cultural and educational partners.

Two questionnaires have been launched.

One is an audience questionnaire to find out what residents and families would like to see and do at the new building when it opens in 2015.

The second is a user questionnaire for organisations that may be interested in hiring part of Memorial Court.

Clr Stuart Parker, executive member for culture and recreation, said: “It is very important that our arts and culture programme for the new Memorial Court reflects what local people and community groups want.

“Please give us your views because your input is very important.

”This is a very exciting time with the Memorial Hall closing as a venue in March and Memorial Court due to open in two years time.”

The audience questionnaire is available on weavervalley.org.uk.

Both are available by emailing artswest@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk.

I would like to think that the new building could attract some of the smaller uk bands and some of the better tribute bands, The main room needs to be at least as big as the current one.
