LOSTOCK Tiny Tots is celebrating after its early years provision received a ‘good’ rating in its first Ofsted report since moving into Lostock Gralam’s Vicarage.

The pre-school, which has been providing childcare in Lostock Gralam for 20 years, moved from its former home next to Lostock Gralam Primary School to the Vicarage on Station Road last September.

“Our recent Ofsted demonstrates how much work all the staff and committee have dedicated to setting the vicarage up as the village pre-school, with many of us often being here after hours to get everything just right,” said school supervisor Sandra Waterhouse.

“Having Ofsted come to inspect and to highlight all the good and the positive that we are doing makes it all worthwhile - all the staff here do it because we love the children and want the best for their futures.”

As well as thanking the team for their hard work, Sandra also said a fond farewell to the school’s deputy, Kelly Johnson, pictured.

“Kelly has been with us now for more than two years and will be sadly missed by the children and families she has worked with.

“From us all at Lostock Tiny Tots, hugs and kisses for all your hardwork and good luck with your next childcare venture.”
