Carnival queen to be chosen on Saturday

THE queen and retinue for the 2013 Northwich Carnival will be chosen on Saturday, February 9.

Northwich Memorial Hall will hold the selection event with doors opening at 1pm and registration until 2pm.

There will be sections for girls aged from four to 15, with the queen herself being chosen from the13 to 15 age group.

There will also be sections for boys aged four and over.

Entrants must live in the CW8 and CW9 areas of Northwich.

Admission is £1 for adults and 50p for children.
