TRADERS are being urged to book their plots early for next year’s Cheshire County Show following record demand for space at the event.

This year’s event attracted more than 80,000 people, including Her Royal Highness the Countess of Wessex, and trade stand space is already on sale for the 2013 event, which will be held on June 18 and 19.

Nigel Evans, executive director of the show, said: “Many firms who came to this year’s event have come back to us to request a place again at the 2013 event and we also continue to attract a range of new firms looking to showcase their goods and services at one of the largest two day public events in the country.

“Cheshire is rightly extremely proud of its farming heritage and the Cheshire County Show has grown to become one of the largest and well established two day agricultural shows in the UK. This makes it one of the most important dates in the calendar for traders.”

More than 800 traders including agricultural suppliers, car dealerships, fine food producers and clothing retailers attended the show in June.

“The beautiful setting of the Cheshire countryside makes our show the ideal place for a wide variety of firms to meet potential customers or clients, not only from Cheshire, but also from across the country,” said Nigel.
