Driver taken to hospital after crash on A556

A DRIVER was taken to hospital after a crash on the A556 in Davenham.

Emergency services were called to the scene at 4pm on Sunday, November 11, after a silver Hyundai Coupe collided with a bridge and overturned.

The driver, a 20-year-old Winsford woman, was taken to Leighton Hospital with minor injuries.

The road was closed at its junction with School Lane while emergency services worked at the scene.
