Community forum will discuss town's future
11:04am Tuesday 23rd October 2012 in News
A COMMUNITY Forum will be held at Northwich Memorial Hall on Thursday.
The event will start with a talk from Clr Gaynor Sinar, ward member for Davenham and Moulton and owner of Curtain Magic on Witton Street.
There will then be presentations from Carolyn Shepherd of the London Road Collective about the group’s progress at the London Road Studios, Jane Hough from Groundwork Cheshire, David Roberts about the River Weaver Navigation Society and Cheshire West’s appointed artist Katayoun Dowlatshahi.
The Forum will end with a question and answer session.
Clr Gaynor Sinar said: “This Forum is all about Northwich – it’s about the future of the town and making it better.
“It’s about what happens now in the run up to the Cheshire West led developments. It’s about filling up Weaver Square and filling up the shops on Witton Street.
“We can improve the future of Northwich and make it better than it ever has been - we just need people to engage with us and with the town.”
The Forum will take place at Northwich Memorial Hall from 5.30pm until 7pm tomorrow, Thursday October 25.
