Who was the honest young lad?
A DAUGHTER wants to thank a young boy who handed in her mum's purse to a bus driver after she lost it on the way home.
Wendy Hind's mum was travelling on a bus from Northwich to Winsford at 3.15pm on Wednesday, April 29.
Her mum believes that the lad who helped her got on the bus near to the County High School, Leftwich.
Wendy, of Cromwell Road, Northwich, said: "My mum got off the bus in Winsford without her purse and with all the bad press recently she felt that she would never see her purse again.

"However, a young lad handed it in to the driver with all the contents intact."
Wendy added: "My mum and dad are pensioners and do not have a lot. They cannot praise the lad in question enough.
"I just felt that through the Guardian we would like to thank the lad in question, and let people know that not all youths are bad. There are some good out there who need the recognition that they deserve.
"My mum has now regained some faith in the youth of today. The lad must know who he is, and my mum would feel better knowing that his honesty has been hugely appreciated."

Deserves a medal!!! He rightfully deserves a thank you. But medals are for those who fight for their country not for doing a simple task that any human being should do whatever their age.
