MEMBERS of CODYS youth theatre group will perform Willy Russell’s play version of Blood Brothers at The Brindley.
Tickets for the evening performances of the show, which starts on Tuesday, are sold out but a few tickets remain for the matinee.
Blood Brothers tells the story of twins, separated at birth because their mother could not afford to keep them both, who go on to lead very different lives.
Nick Cupit, Encore and CODYS chairman, said: “When we staged Blood Brothers last year at The Pyramid, there was an overwhelming response for tickets.
“However, at the end of the week’s run, there were many more enquiries from people who weren’t able to secure tickets.
“The response at The Brindley has been amazing with more than 2,000 tickets having sold, resulting in us having to add an extra performance.”
The matinee takes place on Saturday, January 28, at 2.30pm.
