COMEDIANS Jeff Green and Jon Richardson will be previewing their Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows at the Memorial Hall, Northwich. The Purple Cactus Comedy Club has announced this week.
Green is now a hugely popular figure in the UK, having featured multiple times on Nevermind the Buzzcocks and They Think It’s All Over. His success has also gone further afield with sell-out performances at comedy festivals in Sydney and Melbourne.
He has appeared on Celebrity Masterchef and released his first audio CD – Jeff Green – Debauched Cherub.
Richardson nominated as Best Newcomer in the ‘if.comedy’ awards in 2007 and recently won the Chortle Breakthrough Act Award. In 2003 his career began to take off when he won his heat in the BBC New Talent Comedy Search.
He has also supported Alan Carr on his tour. He finished his first year in comedy with a sell out performance at the Criterion Theatre in London’s West End.
