Council must make sure we have enough grit

WITH our weather being unpredictable, please can the council, Town or CWAC, make sure of the amount of grit needed for the roads?

It is no use just gritting the main roads, as they cannot be reached in a car or by foot from icy side roads.

Many elderly people have no transport so are forced to have to walk to shops for food and other important items.

Last year, many people took their lives in their hands and a lot of bones were fractured.

We seem to be able to provide more and more complicated technical services but when it comes to down to earth living, we simply do not come up to scratch.

Leaves on railway lines and a bit of snow and the whole country comes to a standstill.
