CLASSICAL starlet Katherine Jenkins will be bringing her unique style of soprano singing to Delamere next summer.
Re-defining the concept of classical crossover, Katherine has achieved global sales of more than three million and will be performing at Delamere Forest on Sunday, June 14, as part of the Forestry Commission’s 2009 live music programme.
This autumn she will release her sixth album, Sacred Arias, while the mezzo soprano’s fifth album, Rejoice, outsold major pop acts including Girls Aloud and the Spice Girls.
All four of the 28-year-old’s previous studio albums went to the top of the classical charts.
Tickets priced £32.50 are on sale now and can be booked by calling the ticket hotline on 01842 814612, online at forestry.gov.uk/music or over the counter from the venue.
