A WARRINGTON restaurant hopes to raise its game after meeting some of the biggest names in the industry at a culinary masterclass in London.

The team from Ozmi Indian Eatery on Winwick Road, joined around 150 restaurateurs to trade ideas and learn the secrets and tips of acclaimed chefs, restaurant managers and business experts, at the Radisson Edwardian Hotel.

Speakers included Michelin star chef Rupert Rowley who has worked with the likes of Gordon Ramsay.

The invited guests also enjoyed a three-course meal featuring dishes from London-based Asian Caterers Mint Catering.

At the workshop a select group of restaurants and chefs were given accolades for making a continuous effort of improving on service and serving quality foods to their customers.

The Ozmi Indian Restaurant was the only restaurant from Cheshire which received such certificate.

Executive chef Syeduz Zaman Kamran, who leads the team behind Ozmi Indian, said: “It was a great opportunity to hear what the experts had to say and we certainly gained a lot of valuable information. At Ozmi Indian Eatery at Warrington we’re constantly looking for ways to raise standards and gain knowledge to make a better experience for customers so the workshop gave us added inspiration.
