History of 1960s pop art at Harlequin Theatre

First published in What's On

AN illustrated history of pop art in the 1960s will brighten up a Monday afternoon at a Northwich theatre.

Guests will be taken on a trip down memory lane through the swinging sixties to an era of kaleidoscopic art, featuring personalities including Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Claes Oldenberg.

Themes such as kinetic art, colour-field painting and nouveau realisme will also be put under the spotlight at the event, on February 13, at the Harlequin Theatre in Queen Street, Northwich.

Tickets are priced at £5, or £4 for concessions and available from the DAN office in Northwich Library on 01606 41597 or online at danarts.org.
