OKAY, so we all know that Mamma Mia is beaten only by Titanic as the most successful film in British box office history.

But if you are one of the very few people who have yet to see the film you may be wondering just what all the fuss is about.

It’s set in Greece and follows the build up to dilapidated hotel owner Donna’s (Meryl Streep) daughter, Sophie's (Amanda Seyfried) wedding.

But as Donna’s old friends arrive for the celebration she gains some extra guests in the shape of Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth and Stellan Skarsgård.

The three men are old flames of Donna and when she discovers her uninvited visitors the flicker of romance comes back.

Not forgetting the plot is all set to some of the most popular Abba hits and feature dazzling and colourful dance routines.

The stars aren’t the best singers but I think it adds to the charm.

Fab for Abba fans and non-Abba fans alike.
