FORGET seven hour car journeys all the way to Somerset to see your favourite bands because the best in live music is coming to Frodsham.
With the likes of The Automatic, The Cordels, Amsterdam and Northern Lights topping the bill, the one-day event is set to put Cheshire firmly on the map.
The festival is the brainchild of stalwart roadie Mark Rowlands who decided he could do just as good a job at organising an event as anyone else.
He said: “I have worked on festivals like Glastonbury and I thought why not do it myself? Frodsham is a great area and is a great location for the festival.”
As well as pulling in big names like The Automatic, organisers also plan to make the event a showcase for the best in emerging talent.
It all starts on Saturday from 12.30pm until 11pm, at Lady Heyes Craft Centre with camping available.
Tickets are priced £30 and camping is £10 for three nights.
