Time to use Verdin Park for infirmary vehicles

WITH reference to Verdin Park being used as a car park, I believe that something like this has been coming for a long time. Almost 12 months ago I wrote with regard to the state Verdin Park was left in after the Northwich Carnival.

This week another fair arrived in the park and has destroyed it yet again, cars, vans and HGVs driving across the grass, parked over the pavements. On top of this there is evidence of drug use in the park.

Perhaps a free car park for visitors to the infirmary would not be a bad idea.

There no doubt will be people out there who think this a ridiculous statement to make but it is no more ridiculous than charging people who are in need of medical treatment for parking their car.

If the hospital needs to raise funds in this way surely this tells you they are not receiving funding from the Government that they require, so could someone explain where all the extra taxes we pay are going.

Could it be to pay things like the Prime Minister's Sky TV?
