Support Labour: fight incinerator

I, ALONG with many Labour Party supporters, am very disappointed with the present Labour Government.

I do not believe they have done enough for the poorer members of our society.

Having said that there is no way either of the other two parties would have done more, so there is no way I am going to vote for them.

But my main point is this. I WILL be voting Labour in the local elections and I urge anyone else, regardless of political affiliation to do the same for one simple reason; the Labour group is the only one to state, unreservedly, that they will oppose the proposed Incinerator plan to the bitter end.

No other party has said they will do the same so if you vote Liberal, Conservative or, God forbid, BNP, there is still a chance our community will be faced with the awful prospect of an incinerator blighting not only our landscape and our roads, but also our health and the health of our families.

Moan about the Labour Party by all means but don't stay home on polling day - give them your vote.
