OF course I was delighted to read Delamere Post Office had retained a link with the outside world (Guardian April 16), although I wouldn't call it a silver lining.

I AM shocked to see the terrible state the car park of Firdale Medical Centre has become. Every week more and more litter piles up on the landscaped areas down the side of the building. Surely someone is responsible for maintaining this area?
WITH reference to Verdin Park being used as a car park, I believe that something like this has been coming for a long time. Almost 12 months ago I wrote with regard to the state Verdin Park was left in after the Northwich Carnival.
