What is the excuse?
3:44pm Saturday 10th May 2008
I WRITE with reference to your article about the almost unbelievable delay in completion of the public toilets in Middlewich.

Kingsmead speed plea
11:43am Saturday 10th May 2008
I NOTE that the Lib Dems have yet again focused in their election leaflets on damaged signs within Kingsmead.

Dogs or footballers?
2:42pm Friday 9th May 2008
DOG owners are still taking their pets onto Moss Farm and not just walking them on a lead round the perimeter but having a high old time over the field areas.

Disgusting park mess
11:41am Friday 9th May 2008
I would like to raise people's awareness of our local Griffiths Park and what an absolute state it is in. Over the last few years it has declined into a mass of dog mess and glass, and seems to be the local youth drinking area.

3:39pm Thursday 8th May 2008

I was badly shaken and hurt but thanks to them an ambulance was called and the police arrived and helped me to my feet to sit on a borrowed chair until the ambulance arrived. Their assistance was invaluable.

1:38pm Thursday 8th May 2008
I RECENTLY spent several days in Leighton Hospital after an operation and wanted to commend the very high standard of care I received from all the surgical team and nurses.

Don’t have a go at teachers
11:36am Thursday 8th May 2008
EDUCATION, Education, Education! That was what Tony Blair said in 1997 yet our Government denies the very people who can supply it, the teachers, a decent wage.

Town council should get its act together
3:34pm Wednesday 7th May 2008
WE hear almost weekly of the lamentable efforts of the Middlewich Burial Board's efforts to replace the damaged cemetery gates on Chester Road.

This is not a silver lining
11:33am Wednesday 7th May 2008
OF course I was delighted to read Delamere Post Office had retained a link with the outside world (Guardian April 16), although I wouldn't call it a silver lining.
