Witton take their winnings
WITTON pocketed more than £8,000 in prize money this season.
Albion were awarded £3,600 for finishing second in the UniBond Premier Division, plus £1,000 for topping the fair play table.
Their record of just one caution in four games cemented their place at the top of the UniBond Premier Division Fair Play table for April, although surprisingly for an overall season winner it was the first occasion they had lifted a monthly award.
The Wincham Park outfit picked up a meagre 33 yellow cards, plus one sending off, in their 43 matches this term.
Gateshead, promoted through the play offs, were the next on the list with 38 cautions and six dismissals.
Frickley Athletic's 87 bookings and 11 red cards left them with the uneviable prize of worst behaved team.
Albion picked up a further £3,500 - taking their winnings to £8,100 - for reaching the FA Trophy Third Qualifying Round, where they lost against Hucknall Town in a replay.
The accolades don't end there.
Adam Warlow scored 30 times in all competitions to finish as top goal getter while their mean streak made sure 20 clean sheets were recorded at the other end of the pitch.
