THE men have captured that winning feeling at Cuddington and Sandiway Tennis Club.
Despite missing several regulars, all three teams chalked up victories in the latest round of league matches.
Captain Simon Nuttall has forged a strong partnership with promising young player Alex King in the Men's A team, taking all four sets against Bentley A.
New B team skipper Jamie Cummins has now led his young team to a hat-trick of wins and, strongly supported by Jack Bell and Brad Bird, they won a hard fought match against an experienced Winsford B side.
The C side were delighted with their win at Goostrey, where battling veterans Fran Evans and Mike Linsell helped secure an excellent victory.
The Ladies teams had a mixed week.
The C team were delighted to achieve their first win of the season, beating rivals Congleton D.
A strong performance by new partnership Hilary Burgess and Linda Pinder secured 3 sets, with captain Val Keeling and Jane Purdue winning a further two.
The B quartet, still without a win, were disappointed to have lost to Nantwich Farmers after a long battle.
Elsewhere Cuddington A's captain Lindsey Cochrane was frustrated at losing to Holmes Chapel.
With great play from all the team they were close to turning defeat to victory.
WINSFORD'S first team continued their fine start to the season against Alsager A.
They won their South and Mid Cheshire League Division One clash 6-2 at Knights Grange, where David Jones, Dave Littler, Mark Abbiss and Richard Clorley were on court.
The second string lost 5-3 at home to Cuddington B in Division Three.
Their quartet consisted of Chris Mayoh, Neil Garratt, Andy Yearsley and Brian Congleton.
