CHESHIRE’s most glamorous fitness fanatics and socialites helped launch a new work-out range.

Myprotein, based in Rudeath, the world's number one online sports nutrition company, held their Active Women Range launch event at vent The Hale Country Club in Cheshire last Friday.

The new range of health and nutrition supplements are specifically formulated to support the female physiology and hormonal balance.

A spokesman for MyProtein said: “Featuring in the range is the energising Vegan Protein Blend which contains over 16g of plant-based protein per serve.

“Sourced from rice and pea protein with added digestive enzymes, folic acid and zero added sugar, this powerful, metabolism boosting powder can be used to make delicious dairy-free protein shakes or smoothies.

“For a pre-gym energy kick, the Active Women Pre-Workout contains Vitamin C, BCAA’s and natural stimulants such as green tea and guarana.

“The formulation is developed to increase alertness and get you through a tough workout without the high caffeine content found in most pre-workout supplements.”

The Hale Country Club, which is one of Cheshire’s most highly esteemed leisure destinations, was recently acquired by Myprotein’s parent company, The Hut Group, based in Rudheath.

Guests worked up a sweat in the studio with master trainer Jonathan Chianca then enjoyed a raw breakfast from Cheshire chef Savannah Boyd-Donnelly.

To help promote the new range, Myprotein, which is part of the Health Division, called on the

Real Housewives of Cheshire star Seema Malhotra and Made in Chelsea’s Louise Thompson.

Louise was able to take a day off from filming the new series of Made in Chelsea to attend the launch event as part of her new ambassadorial role.

The pint-sized star shared some of her fitness and nutrition secrets.

“My boyfriend Ryan is a personal trainer and has helped to transform my body,” Louise said. “We met while I was filming the show, it’s always nice to have a wingman to work out with.

“I tend to stick to mostly weight training exercises instead of cardio and I’m lucky that I develop muscle quite quickly.

“I do like to mix it up with boxing and pilates but the weights really help with the muscle definition.

“I’m going to the Maldives in December so I’ll take it easy through October but ramp up the training in November.”
