WEEKLY roller disco fun will be on offer at Rudheath Leisure Centre every Saturday evening from this weekend.

The roller disco is being launched at the centre by Rollers Club, which runs a number of discos in the area.

The club was started nine years ago by Korby Sangha, who runs discos in Macclesfield, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Poynton, Frodsham and Winsford.

“We have now answered the calls of many residents of Northwich for us to open a local disco for them,” said Korby, from Macclesfield.

“The Rudheath Roller Disco will hopefully really take off, with kids and adults of all ages being welcome to join in.

“Our staff are great at getting kids skating, and we believe in interacting with our customers to give them the best experience of fun mixed with fitness.

“Skating is a great activity for all the family, and has many health benefits, including flexibility, balance and weight control.”

The Rudheath session is £4, with an extra £1 to hire skates.

The session runs from 6.30pm to 8pm, and there will be free skate hire on this Saturday’s opening night.

Korby is also launching a weekly roller disco at Sir William Stanier Leisure Centre at Crewe this Friday, from 6.30pm to 8pm, and weekly sessions are held at Winsford Lifestyle Centre every Friday from 5.45pm to 7pm and 7.15pm to 8.30pm.
